We are excited to be able to offer the first statewide, virtual Wellness Conference to members of the MHC Insurance Pools!
Participants will have the option to attend four different sessions beginning at 8:30 a.m. and running throughout the morning. This event is free to members of the MHC. Click here to register for this conference.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has caused many workers to work from home. Virtual work settings have been beneficial but poses challenges. People are working in pain. Is there small things a person can do to reduce their pain while working from home? Yes, in this seminar, you will learn how to improve your work station ergonomics, learn to improve your posture, and learn stretches to reduce strain.
9:15 – 10:00 – Eating for your Health & Creating Healthy Habits

Members are working from home (where food is more available 24/7). Office staff and teachers are balancing varied schedules. There have been a lot of challenges in our work environments in the past year. April has great information to share!

10:10 – 11:15 – Workplace Wellness – Control Your Destiny

Promoting wellness in the workplace is essential for employees, their families, communities and organizations as a whole. Did you know, that at least two-thirds of people in the US report experiencing significant stress in the workplace?
This interactive wellness training includes discussion regarding perceptions and opportunities to share personal experiences, as well as hands-on strategies that can be implemented to reduce stress.
11:15- 11:30 – Worksite Yoga
Brittani Daniel, Yoga Instructor-RTS Insurance and Wellness Manager
Take advantage of this 15-minute yoga session designed to help alleviate muscular aches and pains associated with sitting. No equipment or prior yoga experience necessary to participate.
