14 Apr MHC Transitions to Wex Health, Inc. to Administer MSA Program
The Minnesota Healthcare Consortium (MHC) and WEX are excited to partner to serve your medical spending account needs. WEX has been administering benefits since 1987 and their mission is to simplify the business of healthcare. They currently serve more than 14,000 employer groups nationwide, including health plans, financial institutions, public entities (including three states), school districts, and more. As you may know, WEX and MHC are managing the transition of your plans and members on your behalf. We wanted to share some exciting news and provide some insight on what to expect next.
Contact Confirmation Form: As a next step, current member group leaders should complete the Contact Confirmation form, which identifies who should be included in important communications regarding this transition. This form will need to be completed by 4/25/2022. Upon receipt of your completed form, we will send an additional email confirming your account is ready for next steps. You will also receive additional communication offering interactive educational resources related to WEX administration and open enrollment materials.
Transition to WEX: The WEX team is diligently working with MHC to migrate plan and participant information. During this time, you can expect communication on items that affect you and participant accounts. This communication will keep you informed throughout the transition to WEX.
Support: Support: If you have any questions regarding your administration prior to your transition to WEX, please continue to work with me directly or contact your Regional Service Cooperative. We have prepared an FAQ that will offer you a glimpse of what is to come. We will continue to be in touch as the migration effort nears.
Thank you for your valued participation in the medical spending account program through the Minnesota Healthcare Consortium.
